About Ross Gibson

Ross Gibson is a seasoned and experienced human resources professional.  With over thirty years in the field, much of which was in senior level roles, Ross has a breadth and depth of human resources, organizational development and general business experience that he brings to his clients.

Having focused on leadership and organizational development over the later part of his in-house career, Ross made the leap into the world of consulting several years ago, establishing The Green Mountain Leadership Center along with being affiliated with several consulting organizations.  Ross has quickly gained a reputation for being able to help clients with complex organizational issues and making a difference in their employee engagement and leadership effectiveness.  Ross currently has clients all over New England and throughout Vermont where he resides.

Prior to consulting, Ross most recently was Senior Vice President, Global Human Resources at World Learning, a global academic institution and Non-Governmental Organization with approximately 1,000 employees.  Other previous senior level positions Ross held includes Vice President, Learning and Organizational Development at Charles River Labs and Vice President, Human Resources at both American Superconductor and Cambridge Neuroscience, Inc.  Ross is a certified facilitator in several of the award-winning and internationally recognized Franklin Covey courses including The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, Leading at the Speed of Trust and The Five Choices to Extraordinary Productivity.  He is active in several local and regional Human Resources and training organizations and is a past president of the Northeast Human Resources Association (NEHRA).  He is currently serving on the Board of the Brattleboro Area Chamber of Commerce and the Strolling of the Heifers.

Ross is a frequent speaker at conferences and industry meetings.  He speaks on a wide variety of topics including Building Organizational Trust, Employee Engagement, Multiplication (The One Key HR Skill), Developing Stronger Teams and many others.
